Ishizuka Glass

Ishizuka Glass traces its roots back to glass manufacturing started in 1819 by Iwasaburo Ishizuka in Tsuchida, Kani City, Gifu Prefecture. At that time, they produced glasswork commissioned by the lord of the Owari domain, and continued to pursue glass manufacturing further throughout the Meiji and Taisho periods. A turning point came in 1927, when Ishizuka Glass successfully melted white glass in the first Siemens-type tank furnace in Japan, leading them down the path of mass production. The current Iwakura factory began operations in 1961, and with the full-scale entry into the tableware business, the bottle business expanded, and it was at this time that "ADERIA" was born.
