Do you all like coffee?
I love it so much that I keep iced coffee in my fridge all year round.
For those times, we recommend the HARIO Cold Brew Coffee Pot, Black, 1000mL, Coffee Pitcher, Made in Japan (MCPN-14-B). Of course, it's made in Japan.
I've been using it for about 20 years now, and I use it all year round.
Since this is a "cold brew" coffee, at first I followed the instructions and poured water into the filter to use it.
Cold brew coffee is said to have many benefits, such as being less prone to oxidation, and simply because it has a crisp taste and is easy to drink.
However, I end up gulping it down so much that it's not enough to wear it for 8 hours, so I end up needing 2 or 3 bottles.
So in my house, I just add hot water and it's ready to make coffee.
You can use your favorite coffee beans, whether ground or roasted, or buy ground coffee. I fill a mesh filter about one-third full (I change it depending on my mood that day).
All you have to do is pour boiling water into the shape of the letter "no". The beans will expand and look delicious.
I want to stock as much as possible, so when I take out the filter with the beans in it, I add water to make up for any loss so that I can stock up to the maximum.
It has been about 20 years since it was used in this way, but it has not deteriorated at all and is still in full swing at the forefront.
What's surprising is that the mesh filter doesn't deteriorate at all.
It's been poured with hot water and scrubbed every time, so it may have become a little softer compared to how crisp it was at first, but of course there are no holes that coffee beans could get through.
I thought I would have to replace the filter, but it has been perfectly durable.

While writing this article, I realized that the bottom of modern filters can be removed.
This is a feature that my item doesn't have. It looks easy to wash.
It's constantly being updated without you even realizing it.
It's great that they are improving things to make them easier to use by putting themselves in the user's shoes.
