About the materials
Palm trees were once an important product of Kishu (Wakayama). However, they have been replaced by imported palm trees and other plants, and as a result, the number of farmers who cultivate palm trees in Japan has decreased, and the number of palm forests has also declined.
In order to continue preserving the traditional palm fiber industry, we must first protect the palm trees. With this in mind, we launched a palm tree cultivation project and have been cultivating high-quality palm trees over many years.
Then, from the carefully maintained palm trees, we select only the finest quality ones to deliver to you as products such as body scrubbing brushes.
Furthermore, for kitchen utensils and brooms where durability is required, we use imported palm fiber, which is known for its strong resilience.
